I would like to introduce you to our new store within our store. Odds and Bobbs in the Village will now house also Deramore’s , an English online store. There are many options in this store for those of you who knit or crochet a lot and would like to save on more expensive yarns. They carry Lion Brand to Rowan and many in between. Before I present it to you, I did a little research on the web.

I took Rowans Kid Silk Haze (I always tend to the more expensive yarns). This Yarn ranged on the web from $11.96 to $25.49. Most were $14.95 a ball. Deramore sells it in a bag of 6 for $58.23 that would be $11.42 a ball. Over a sweater, the difference adds up. I could also get a pattern and yarn kit for a lovely wrap for $142.09 (710 points) that makes your yarn $10.15 each.

You save of course more with expensive yarns, but you would also save on the cheaper brands. As this is an English Company, I checked the shipping. They ship free US and Canada on orders of $75.

They have value packs and colour packs with savings. This is however not the end of the savings. They also have a rewards program. You receive 5 points for every dollar you spend. They also have specials on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. For shopping on these days, you earn extra bonus points.

Other ways you can gain points:- leave a review, follow on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter these all get you 25 points. If you refer a friend you get 500 points.

For some things, you can purchase the kit or if you have some yarn you need to use up some patterns only are free. Others are only a few dollars. They have some lovely patterns for both knits and crochet.
